National Service Scheme is offered to the students as an alternative to NCC and our College has two NSS units namely NSS UNIT-I and NSS UNIT-II.Each unit is under thecontrol of a programme officer who is solely responsible for the entire working of that unit. He/She is guided by the Principal and some senior staff members of the college.Every year the NSS Unit will conduct special camps both in Rural and Urban Settings. Someof the Selected students will participate in the camps free of cost and get camp certificatesfrom the university. Certificates and camp certificates carry additional weightage and valueto those who wish to get jobs in the government services and voluntary bodies and admission into higher studies.
